So apparantly the pre-law society meeting that brought me to Carroll by driving a half-hour in the dark had been moved back about...two hours before my arrival. And the Q&A session I decided I would (finally!) attend doesn't come until 10:00, so I have a good forty five minutes to kill. An excellent time to write a blog post.

Another fall, another semester. Or something profound like that.

I don't have much to say about classes yet. One appears to be heavily discussion-based, which might be a challenge--I don't speak in front of large groups of people, and this appears to be one of the larger classes I've had at Carroll. For some reason, Carroll starts spring break a good two weeks earlier than most of my friends' colleges. This means I don't have much going in the way of a social life, except through Facebook, so I'm spending my time on long bike rides and writing. Lots of writing. We've covering Wealth of Nations (that is, An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations, by Adam Smith, moral philosopher) in PPE101.
